Short-Range Wireless - Writer's Guidelines

MARKET SERVED
Short-Range Wireless focuses totally on the technology of "close-in" wireless data networking and communications within distances of several hundred yards.

SUBJECT AND CONTENT
Short-Range Wireless accepts contributed material for short, concise treatment of one topic. We publish feature articles that address industry solutions, trends of the industry, or other topics of general interest, rather than ones promoting a specific product or firm. Only previously unpublished, original material should be submitted. Prospective authors should call or write to present an outline or abstract of the proposed article before submitting a finished manuscript.

ARTICLE FORMAT
All articles must be submitted either by electronic mail (jeremym@infowebcom.com) or diskette in ASCII text format. Also, mail or fax a hard copy of the manuscript so we can see where italics, bold, unusual margins and other non-text features are in the document. Articles should comprise of 1000 to 2500 words for a typical two to four page article, not to exceed 3500 words. Articles may be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.

ARTWORK
Artwork is preferred with each article. Tables, charts and graphs should be prepared as neat as possible with data accompanying them in text-only format. Color graphics, screen shots or photos should be submitted as black and white or color photographs or in eps., .tif or .bmp format, for the PC. If you cannot provide artwork, let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

AUTHOR BIO
Please submit a concise biography of the author with the manuscript, and include phone, e-mail and other contact information.

DEADLINES
All materials must be submitted two months before publication date. For more information, contact Jeremy Martin, Assistant Editor at 720-528-3770, ext. 118, or jeremym@infowebcom.com.
