Short-Range
Wireless 2004
is a two-day conference focused on the latest advancements
in short-range wireless technology for industrial, commercial
and residential applications.
Presentations
will cover device and system developments for wireless
data networking and communications within a distance
of several hundred yards, typically using license-free
radio wavelengths. The sessions and discussions will
aim to provide a comprehensive, objective view of product,
service, regulatory and market developments in all applicable
wireless device networking platforms, technologies and
standards including Zigbee, 802.11, RFID, Bluetooth,
M2M, wireless automation, UWB, IR, DECT and In-Building
wireless.

trends and performance improvements. New security technologies,

conference will be held October 6-7, 2004 at the Hyatt
Regency Tech Center in Denver, CO. Attendance is expected
to be approximately 100-150 people. The event will be
organized to provide numerous opportunities for constructive
and creative networking including refreshment and networking
breaks, peer discussion sessions, q&a sessions with
leading technology and market experts, daily luncheons,
reception, and tabletop or portable exhibits. The registration
fee for conference attendees is $995.
The
conference is organized by Webcom
Communications Corp., publisher of numerous magazines
serving the electronics and wireless communications
markets, and the producer of educational and networking
events serving these markets. The conference is co-located
and will share exhibit facilities with Antenna
Systems 2004, another Webcom event.
